Willamette Park Parking Lot Expansion
A new parking lot is being added to Willamette Park. The new parking lot is
adjacent to a new shelter installed at the park last year. Both of these
facilities are located across from Bernert Landing Boat Ramp on Volpp Street.
The uniqueness of this parking lot is that it will not be another giant piece of
asphalt, but will be a permeable surface constructed from panels that allow
grass to grow through them.
Bernert Landing Parking Lot Resurfacing Thanks to a Grant from the Oregon State Marine Board the parking lot at Bernert Landing in Willamette Park has been resurfaced and has new curbing. This
heavily used boat ramp looks and functions much better.
Community Gardens - Future Tualatin Park, 821 Willamette Falls Drive.
Community gardens are up and running at this future park property. Much work and many
volunteer hours have gone into the development of this new program. All 36 garden
plots that were available have been snapped up by eager gardeners.
