The goal of Park Maintenance and Operations
is to provide safe and attractive facilities for our citizens and visitors
to use and enjoy. Through the efforts of a well-planned maintenance
program, we are able to provide these services effectively and
efficiently.
Our maintenance schedules and procedures are
based on the standards and frequencies our citizens have come to expect,
and are the result of years of developing a maintenance management
system specific to West Linn parks and facilities. A recent citizen satisfaction
survey ranked park maintenance very high.
During the year our Park's Maintenance staff
work cooperatively with numerous volunteer groups, youth sports
organizations, Neighborhood Associations, and many other local groups.
Through these cooperative efforts our maintenance crews are able to
establish ongoing relationships and digest valuable input and ideas from our
community.
